The Wellington Lounge is an ideal meeting place for an early morning coffee and pastries, famed afternoon tea or an all-day-menu featuring classic seasonal dishes.
Standing proudly on the former site of 145 Piccadilly—Queen Elizabeth II’s former childhood home—the Wellington Lounge pays respect to its heritage by offering traditional afternoon tea with a modern twist for an experience fit for royalty. Our team has created an extensive menu of teas with the East India Company, complementing the various dishes available. Blending the best of tradition with contemporary twists, the menu presents a style to suite all tastes.
Immerse yourself in a truly regal experience at The Wellington Lounge, complete with live music from 1:30pm to 5:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday.
A semi-private corner lounge is available to accommodate small events and group reservations of 15 people or less. You can also enjoy live music from 7.30pm, Thursday to Saturday.
Coronation Afternoon Tea
Introducing our new afternoon tea inspired by the coronation of King Charles III. Indulge in quintessentially British delights, from handmade scones to savoury bites, all based on the King’s favourite dishes. Delight your taste buds with finger sandwiches like slow roasted pheasant with truffle and balsamic pearls, and indulge in cakes such as Martini cheesecake and a Darjeeling tea and honey opera. Choose from over 20 premium teas from the East India Company, including our bespoke blend, or opt for Champagne from top houses like Ruinart and Veuve Clicquot for a bubbly affair. Join us this May to raise a glass and celebrate our newly crowned King!
Join us every Wednesday to Sunday throughout May 2023, between 1-5 pm to enjoy this experience for £55 per person, or £68 per person for an indulgent afternoon tea with a glass of Champagne.
